Results of some research techniques and breeding cultivated several varieties of citrus fruit (Citrus) the northern mountainous
During 2009 - 2011, some propagating and cultivating techniques applied for some citrus varieties at the age of 6- 8 years in Doan Hung District, Phu Tho province. The results showed that: Top grafting of Doan Hung grapefruit variety, Dien grapefruit variety and Duong Canh orange variety had the highest emerging rate (above 90%). In addition, this rate in Spring - Summer grafting season is higher than that in Autumn-Winter season. Doan Hung pomelo variety wrapped with MEC bag had higher fruit yield and quality than that without wrapping. Appropriate fertilizer dose: For Bang Luan grapefruit variety at the 6 - 8 years old, is 100 farm yard manure kilos; 800 nitrogen grams; 600 phosphorus grams; 600 potassium grams; 1 powder lime kilogram per one plant. For Suu Chi Dam grapefruit variety at the 6 - 8 years old is 100 kilos of farm yard manure; 960 grams of nitrogen; 680 g of phosphorus; 720 grams of potassium; 1 kilos of powder lime per one plant.
