After 5 years of testing experiments in different ecological conditions such as Cao Phong-Hoa Binh, Phu Quy-Nghe An, Xuan Mai-Ha Noi..., The Citrus R & D Center has selected one early orange variety (CS1) characterized by: good growth, high yield, good fruit quality. Especially it is harvested from mid October to November that is 1 month earlier than Xa Doai orange variety. This variety can be expanded in large scale production in order to prolong harvesting time of orange products, thereby increasing economic efficiency for growers and contributing to promoting sustainable development of orange production industry.
