The crossing of 126 sweet potato seeds, which were crossed by K51, KB1, DT2, CD varieties. Selected K51/KB1 clone, which was the highest root yield of 22,37 ton per hectare and higher than two Hoang Long, Cưu Nhanh controls attain only 16,9 - 17,1 ton root /ha, with confidence 99 %. This clone was the best root quality of 6.8 of friable degree marks, 7,2 of sweet degree marks and higher than Hoang Long and Cuc Nhanh controls of 5.3 - 6,7 marks only. So that, the Spring harvested time of July-2007, sent 7 advanced sweet potato clones to The Northen Centeral part of Institute (among has K51/KB1 clone) with for to serve and evaluate continuously them in the Northen centeral part conditions. To now, K51/KB1 clone was a new name of KTB2 variety from the Northern Centeral part of Institute in July-2010 and it was being served well for sweet potato production in Centeral part of Vietnam.
