Sedge is the staple crops and a poverty alleviation plant in rural coastal areas of Vietnam. In recent years, many seriously harmful pests effected to production, quality and quantity. Up to now, there is rare research on the composition of insect pests and their natural enemies. During 2012-2014, 22 species belonging to 12 families of 6 order insects and 22 predator species including 14 species belonging to 3 insects, 5 spiders, 2 fungi and 1 species of bacteria, were surveyed. Pests usually has a high frequency of both areas such as stem borers, planthopper and small flatid bug. The species of natural enemies of sedge pests with a high frequency of appearance were the wolf spider, ladybug red, yellow wasp and wasp parasite eggs..
