Study and develop process for treatment of polluted water from cassava starch processing for reuse in agricultural production in Kon Tum province
Primary results of our study on the treatment process of polluted wastewater from cassava starch production showed that, wastewater after treatment process had lower index than standard of column B (without targets NH4 + and CN - ), it may suggest the following procedure: Preliminary treatment (discard mud and rubbish) → biological digest tank - biogas (additional preparations EM) → Biological leach field - degree I (water bamboo - Cyberus inovolucratus) → Biological leach field - degree II (vetiver grass - Vetiveria zizanioides) → Ponds (water hyacinth plant - Eichhornia crassipes). Wastewater from processing of cassava starch after treatment was evaluated on vegetable broccoli experiments, the result showed high - yield (theoretical yield reached 243.9 kg/360m2 ), which higher than 1. 6 times compared with control (150.3 kg/360m2 when watered with normal water) reduced pests and disease, the soil also added nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, but quality of vegetable maintained standards according to Decision No 99/2008/QĐ - BNN for targets NO3 -.
