Research on application microorganic fertilizers produced from rice straw in farming rice at yenbai province
Microorganic fertilizers was produced from rice straw in ThanhLuong commune, VanChan district, YenBai province to provide fertilizer for production, saving the renewable energy resources, reducing environmental pollution, creating a famer’s habit to produce fertilizers on their fields, contributing to renovate soil, limiting to use chemical fertilizers, increasing the economic efficiency for farmers. That has a neutral pH, humidity <30%, organic matter content ≥ 15%, the density of helpful microorganisms 1x106 CFU/g, non-toxic to plants, animals and people. The effectiveness of microorganic fertilizer produced from rice straw as: i) Reducing 20% of chemical fertilizers (urea, superphosphate, K2O), the investment cost of chemical fertilizers is 1,120,000 VND/ha, rice yields increased from 8.23% to 8.59% when that compared to control treatment (the dosage of chemical fertilizers according to the extension is 92 kg N, 64 kg P2O5, 72 kg K2O/ha, equivalent to 200 kg of urea, 400 kg of super phosphate, 120 kg KCl/ha). ii) the net profit was 3,776,000 VND/ha that compared to the control treatment in the field experiments (summer-autumn season-2013) and 3,757,000 VND/ha in the models in the field (spring season-2014). iii) If using of rice straw and labor of households then the net profit was approximately 5,900,000 VND/ha. iv) Increasing economic efficiency, society and the environment in the present.
