Study potentiality of the root yield and quality of the imported sweet potato varieties
Through three years of 2008 and 2009, to sudy eight imported sweet potato varieties in four seasons of Spring-Auturm and Winter, selected HD084 variety is the highest fresh root yield of 17.49 - 18.75 ton /ha, which is higher than Hoang Long control at confidence 99 %. It is also the highest quality: 14.6 % protein of the dry vine-leaves, 3.55 % protein of the dry root, and is higher than Hoang Long control (only got 14.43 % the dry vine-leaves, 3.4 % the dry root). Concurrently, HD084 variety is the highest 27.5 marks at all sweet degree - friable degree and higher than Hoang Long control of 24.7 marks. In addition to that, two KV85 and KLDT2 varieties are the fresh root yield, which are higher than contol with confidence 99%, but their root qualities are higher than not confidence.
