NGHIÊN CỨU TĂNG VỤ TRÊN ĐẤT RUỘNG TRỒNG LÚA TẠI HUYỆN BẮC MÊ, TỈNH HÀ GIANG

During 2013 -2014 the project “Research on solutions to increase efficiency of land use in Bac Me district, Ha Giang province” was implemented to identify suitable crop structure to increase paddy land use efficiency and food productivity, contributing to improve income for farmers. This included some main activities such as implementing trials on changes of crop structure. The results showed that crop structure change could be implemented in both one crop and two crop area. The one paddy crop area could be changed to one maize crop sown on February 10th in Spring plus one rice crop sown on June 1st in summer with rice varieties of Kim uu 725 or Khang dan 18; In two crop area, the structure could be changed to one rice sown on January 27th in Spring season with Khang dan 18 or Cuong uu 725 and one more rice sown on May 10th with Khang dan 18 or Cuong uu 725 in Summer crop and plus one winter maize sown on September 20th .
