Study on optimum rates of N, P, K fertilizer application for sugarcane on lowland in Tay Ninh province
Study on optimum rates of N, P, K fertilizer application for sugarcane planted on lowland in Tay Ninh province" was arranged on Gleyic Acrisol in Long Phuoc commune, Ben Cau district, Tay Ninh province disposed by Randomized completed block design (RCBD) with 3 replications. Experiment included 3 levels of N (100; 150; 200), 3 levels of P2O5 (40; 80; 120) and 2 levels of K2O (250; 300) kg/ha set up by combined mode both increase-decrease and accordance with grade forming 6 fertilizer formulations. The experiment results showed that nitrogen from the 100 kg/ha N up to 150 kg/ha N increased yield and did not increase when applying from 150 kg/ha N up to 200 kg/ha N. Potassium fertilizers tended to increase quality of sugarcane. The yield of planting cane was high at fertilizer level of 200 N: 40 P2O5: 250 K2O while that of ratoon cane was high at fertilizer level of 150 N: 80 P2O5: 250 K2O. Fertilizer levels of 150 N: 80 P2O5: 300 K2O and 200 N: 40 P2O5: 250 K2O was recorded to give high economic efficiency.showed that nitrogen from the 100 kg/ha N up to 150 kg/ha N increased yield and did not increase when applying from 150 kg/ha N up to 200 kg/ha N.
