Crop species inventory results in 90 homegardens (HG) of three provinces indicated that there were richness of crop diversity, in which HGs in upland province have the highest estimation of crop diversity with 38,9 species/a HG and difference of crop variety number among HGs is very large and is estimated from 14-64 species and those in lowland and midland areas are 25-26 species. The general average of species number is 61 species and that of HGs in lowland and midland areas is higher than that of HG in upland areas. On the contrary, HGs in upland areas contain higher percent estimation of ornarmental crops, medicinal crops and others with 68,3 %, 85% and 85% in respectively. On the other hand, the crop resources flows are influenced by participation of informal and formal sectors. It estimates about 80% of crop resources coming from informal sectors such as neiboughes, local markets, households’ relationships and others. Based of VENN diagram tools, we found out different influence of both informal and formal factors on gen flows to HG at three ecosites. The formal factors such as commune committee, farmer Unions, seed companies, government’s projects played less important than formal factors.
