Three forage verieties including VA06, Panicum maximum TD 58 and Stylosanthes guianensis CIAT 184 were selected for planting in the three models. The result showed that the green yield of these forage varieties were hightest in the 100% transforming model, about 6.1; 3.0 and 1.1 kg/m2 /cutting times, respectively. It also showed that the forage of 01ha can feed around 39 local cattle from 18 to 24 months old (from 175.9 to 180.4 kg of life weight) raised in semiintensive system. The economical effect of using forage from this kind of system for cattle was higher than that of traditional system from 740,180 to 791,679 dong/cattle/two months.
