Mekong Delta was produced about 19.04 thousands tonnes of Da xanh pomelo, 295.52 thousands tonnes of Tieu da bo longan and 67 thousands tonnes of Java rambutan in 2010. There were about 44% and 36,1% total production of Tieu da bo longan and Java rambutan were exported, respectively. All most of Da xanh pomelo production was consumed in the domestic market. Lack of linkage of farmers, lack of good business means for supplying and distributing of fruit were the main weakness of fruit supply chain. The factors: size of fruit/weight of fruit, skin color of fruit, shape of fruit, freshness of fruit were interested by consumers for buying Da xanh pomelo, Tieu da bo longan and Java rambutan. For criterion of food safety, most consumers there were in need, but it lacked a clear distinction to support consumers on fruit market. To improve the competitiveness of these fruits, the farmers should produce fruit in off-season and associate to grow and sell their products.
