KẾT QUẢ TUYỂN CHỌN GIỐNG HOA LOA KÈN (LILIUM LONGIFLORUM) CHO MIỀN TRUNG
The results of selection of Lilium longiflorum for the central of Vietnam
Loa ken Tu Quy (Lilium longiflorum) belong the genus Lilium in the family Liliaceae. It is beautiful flowers and interested by consumers. Since 2005, the Fruits and Vegetables Research Institute studied and selected to production on some areas for the northern provinces. To expand the area for some Central provinces, from 20011 - 2012, the Fruits and Vegetables Research Institute (FAVRI) and Agricultural Science Institute for Southern Coastal Central of Vietnam (ASISOV) conducted and evaluated in Nghe An, Thua Thien Hue and Binh Dinh province. The results showed that, it can growth and development are stable in Central region’s condition, with hight yield, good flower quality, beautiful colour and long vase life (growth period from 100-105 days, plant height > 100cm, diameter > 1cm). On the other hand it can resistant some major pests and diseases. It is being interested by flower growers and consumers.
