Chrysanthemum is one of the most popular and widely grown flowers in the world because it is easy to grow and propagate. Chrysanthemum can be grown everywhere, such as in the field, garden, balcony, or in the pots. It can be cultivated for domestic and export consumption. In order to select Chrysanthemum for Central Vietnam, the Fruits and Vegetables Research Institute (FAVRI) has been conducting experimental researches in some Central provinces from 2010 to 2012. The results obtained by Chrysanthemum selection suggests that yellow ochna chrysanthemum, yellow Fam chrysanthemum have many advantages such as good growth and development, beautiful color, adapt with heat and drought conditions, which is highly accepted from market. Flower heads are 2.5 -3.2cm and 5.5-6.7cm in diameter, peduncle size are 65-73cm and 60-72cm in length for yellow ochna chrysanthemum, yellow Fam chrysanthemum, respectively. The flowering rate of both varieties is greater than 90%.
