LVN152 maize hybrid is a single crossed combination between C89N  C2N, in which the parent lines were developed by traditional method (combining fullsib and selfing method). LVN152 is the midium - mature hybrid (110 to 125 days), has durable green leaf, falling resistance, drought tolerance. LVN152 has high potential yield reached 80 -90 quintals per hectare. VCU testing results showed that average yield of LVN152 (58.5 - 72.3 quintals ha-1 ) was 10.2 - 13.0 % and 6.3 - 6.7% higher than C919 and LVN4, respectively. LVN152 is a promising hybrid in productive development and was recognized by MARD for the trial production in Northern of Vietnam from 2012.
