KẾT QUẢ ĐÁNH GIÁ HIỆN TRẠNG SẢN XUẤT ỚT CAY Ở TỈNH BÌNH ĐỊNH

Ớt cay là cây rau gia vị có vị trí quan trọng trong cơ cấu cây trồng ở một số địa phương của tỉnh Bình Định. Việc sản xuất và tiêu thụ ớt cay còn gặp nhiều khó khăn do giá cả biến động lớn và chưa có thị trường ổn định, giống và kỹ thuật canh tác còn một số hạn chế. Kết quả điều tra, đánh giá hiện trạng sản xuất cho thấy: Cây ớt cay thích nghi với điều kiện đất đai và khí hậu của địa phương; diện tích sản xuất ớt ở các nông hộ phù hợp để sản xuất ớt hàng hóa; và trên địa bàn tỉnh đã có các đại lý thu mua ớt cay để xuất khẩu. Kết quả điều tra cũng đã xác định được một số yếu tố còn hạn chế như: Giống ớt sử dụng đa dạng nhưng chưa ổn định; các nông hộ sử dụng ít phân hữu cơ và vôi bột; bón nhiều đạm, lân và kali; sử dụng thuốc BVTV chưa hợp lý; phụ thuộc chủ yếu vào một thị trường tiêu thụ sản phẩm và giá cả luôn biến động.

Hot pepper is an important spicy vegetable in crop structures crops in some local regions of Binh Dinh province. The result showed that the hot pepper could well adapt to the soil and climate of the studied regions; the production areas of hot pepper were suitable for commercial production and in Binh Dinh province, there were purchasing agents for exportation. Besides, the study also identified the limitations as follow: varieties used were diverse but unstable; farmers used less organic fertilizer and lime; but applied too much nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium than recommended and the use of pesticides was not reasonable; the prices were fluctuated constantly and depended heavily on the only one market.
