KẾT QUẢ CHỌN TẠO VÀ KHẢO NGHIỆM GIỐNG SẮN HL-S11 CHO CÁC TỈNH PHÍA NAM

Cassava variety HL-S11 is a hybrid selected from cross SM937-26  KM60. HL-S11 was undergone ecological and production tests from 2007 to 2014 in the provinces of Southeast and Central Highland. This cassava variety can be harvested from 10 to 11 months after planting and one cassava plant can give from 6 to 8 tubers. The results of experiments on HL-S11 variety showed the best characteristics such as: fresh tubers with high starch content (28,5 - 30%), getting high yield (45 - 50 tons/ha) increase compared to the controls variety KM140 at 10 - 11%, respectively KM94 at 17 - 18%. HL-S11 variety is tolerant to pest and of wide adaptation to the Southeast and Central Highlands.
