PH10 tea variety is a scrub stem species, low-branched, density of multiple branches. Buds volume of 1 bud 3 leaves reached 0.85 g/bud; young buds are of slightly green purple and look snowny. The growth of PH10 tea variety is average. At the age of 9, the canopy width is about 144.0 cm and productivity reached 6.73 tons/ha by 97.67% as compared with productivity of Kim Tuyen tea variety; productivity of PH10 tea variety in year 6, 7, 8 is higher increase than that of Kim Tuyen tea variety (PH10 is 10.98 tons/ha, Kim Tuyen is 9.68 tons/ha). Quality and material are suitable for processing of green and teas with high quality and stable over the seasons; sugar content is reduced, amino acids and catechins contents is higher reduced than Kim Tuyen variety; density of green hoppers, mosquito bugs and aphids is low compared to Kim Tuyen variety.
