In Vietnam, we have great diversity in plant genetic resources, special in vegetable - spice gene sources. Hence, the diversity vegetable - spices evaluation is very important. Is help to conservation and effective utilization these gene sources. In the base of data and information by accessions, we overview and diversity evaluation for give some results: At present, about 4.875 vegetable - spice accessions conservation in the National Gene Bank. The family diversity of these accessions realized at 52 species, 35 genus and 13 families. In addition, the agriculture characterization diversity of vegetable - spices realized at the shape (square or around stem, obovate or elliptic or lanceolate leaf...), color (green or violet or pink - purple leaf, red or yellow or rusty brown fruit...), species (male or female or hermaphrodite flower...). By the vegetable - spices diversity evaluation, it has high effective for conservation and utilization these gene resources for present and the far future in direction utilization and breeding.
